Week 30 survey

How far along: 30 weeks!!!
Total weight gain/loss: +1 Kilogram since I last stepped on the scale. Not too bad.
Maternity clothes: Yes.
Stretch marks: Not yet. Of course, I'm extremely happy about this, but it baffles me - especially since I feel that my belly is only growing out to the front. I told Guenni that I think baby eventually wants to come out of my belly button. :)
Sleep: Not the best, but really can't complain. I've been having some slight cramping in my legs at night now, too. No actual cramps, just really short moments where it feels like one is coming, but then it stops.
Best moment in the last week: Is it bad that it has to do with our cuddly cat again? Last Friday (my last day home sick), I got up early, showered, and got dressed for the day. After that, I was tired again and decided to make myself comfortable on the couch. I was on my side and my eyes were getting heavy when I felt Pitter (one of our cats) on my legs. She proceeded up to my hips and made herself comfortable there. We ended up both sleeping for about 45 minutes in that position!
Movement: See my last post.
Gender: No changes in voting this week. We have our next ultrasound this coming Monday. We'll see if baby's gender is still what we were told in January. ;)
Food Cravings: Actually none.
Belly Button in or out: Still in
What I miss: This week: skinny ankles and feet. They've been slightly swollen since wearing my new shoes on Tuesday (see weekly wisdom below).
What I am looking forward to: Ultrasound and first cardiotocograph (CTG) on Monday (March 29th). I am SOOOOO EXCITED to see baby again and see how (s)he has changed/grown!!!
Weekly Wisdom: Not only (but especially) for pregnant ladies: When you buy new shoes, wear them at home for a while to see how they feel before you go out in public. I bought new fabulous shoes and immediately wore them to work a few days later before testing them. They LOOK absolutely comfortable, but my feet were screaming by the time I even got to work. On...off...on...off all day long - which also wasn't so good because while my feet were in heaven when I took the shoes off, when I had to put them back on, it was even more painful. I also had fat feet when I got home. Not cool.
Milestones: 30 weeks down, only 10 more to go - if we go absolutely full term. Theoretically, baby will be considered fully developed in 7 weeks and can then make his/her entrance any time. I'm just hoping I can accomplish everything I need to before then! Oh yes, Guenni also finished the floor in baby's room. It looks great!
Baby Brain Moment of the Week: No baby brain this week - I think...
Belly-button ring Status: Out
Labor Signs: Random Braxton-Hicks contractions, sometimes slight pressure "below" if I get up after sitting/lying down for a long time.
Weekly Belly Pic: I seem to have growth spurts every Thursday. Last night, I felt absolutely HUGE again all of a sudden!
